When I moved into an apartment alone in my 20’s, I enjoyed having my own quiet space in a way, but there was something missing. When I adopted my cats however, that´s the day it turned into my home. Just knowing I have someone greet me at the door, lay with me on the couch on slow evenings or share a moment on the balcony together, makes this a space to feel homesick for! I wanted to draw this to capture that feeling for myself and others.
